Complete: Twos a couple... by *CharlotteWindchaser:iconCharlotteWindchaser:

Two’s a couple, Three’s a crowd, Four’s a family.

For the years that Houdini and Wizzie lived in Lumbridge- it was just as simple as that. Houdini the Great magician that helped Rayman, as a child, defeat Mister Dark and save the Electoons and Protoon; though not on the frontline of conflicts, I course. And then there was Wizardora being his younger cousin, a little bit clumsy with her magic and though a fully grown woman on the outside she has the spitefulness of a moody teenager and the temper-tantrum that could rival the one belonging to a small infant, though she did mean well…most of the time.
They were known for the odd scrap due to their contrasting personalities and distinctive age-gap though despite that they did truly care for one another, they were the only family they had.
Until Andrew came along,
The third cousin.

Andrew seemed to have come out of thin air! He had bumped into them when Houdini and Wizardora went to do and act one afternoon and when they saw their crowd swarming around someone else they went to check out what the commotion was all about.
Well, Wizzie was certain that if Houdini and Andrew had wrists that Andrew would of ‘cuffed himself and Houdini straight away and thrown away the key. However, Houdini, along with Wizardora, did not have the faintest clue of who this guy might be. Andrew had long, brunette hair when the other two were blondes and he was significantly small then them too. They didn’t have much else similar in the looks department either, apart from that they were all clad in a majority of purple.
It turned out that Andrew seemed not to be just Houdini’s cousin, but Houdini’s biggest fan as well and like a little shadow to the former blonde magician.
It didn’t take to long before the magician’s sleeping disorder kicked in and Houdini was out.
And it appeared that even though Andrew knew freakily a lot about Houdini he didn’t know two things.
One) He was unaware of Houdini being narcoleptic and though that he had just dropped down dead
Two) he had know idea that he had another cousin- Wizardora.
That was a good start…

The magician and Wizardette tried to get away from him due to his talent of excessive annoyingness, his ability to ‘cling’ towards Houdini and how he ranted on about how much he looked up to Houdini and how ‘awesome’ he thought his cousin was.

But during the praise and trying to escape from Andrew the blondes were trying to take in the fact this guy was claiming to be related.
It wasn’t that the possibility was impossible because the previous generation had a family of four siblings, which consisted of Houdini’s father and Wizardora’s mother and auntie; so Andrew quite possibly was the son of the forth sibling.
The reason was that their family was rather much in dysfunctional pieces and it was quite a sensitive subject for one to bring up. Though it consisted of members having the ability for magic there were ones in the family that despised it along with a mass majority of families at the time. Houdini and Wizardora weren’t fully aware of what exactly went on them many years ago though the after mass consisted of the following: family members no longer speaking to one another, years of no contact, Houdini being abundant as an infant, the murder of Wizardora’s parents and disappearance of their auntie Minnie.
A lot of their family history was unravelled and what was just caused heartache and suffering- so it was best ignored.
But they couldn’t ignore Andrew as much as they wanted too. Wizardora developed a disliking of Andrew, which at times seemed to be unexplainable. He was cocky and smug, better at magic (miles better) and hogged a lot of Houdini’s attention. He made her remember how twisted their past was and had seemed to have had an easier life then herself and Houdini. Though she claimed “I hate you,” many times to a lot of events and people it was regularly empty, but with Andrew sometimes is overflowed, However to keep Houdini by her side she had to bottle it up and keep it to herself. Though her name calling on his size never seemed to cease- so at least she could get him in one form.

“Andrew,” said Houdini as he was sat attempting to read with his cousin over his ‘shoulder’ (well Andrew was on the tippest of his tip-toes) “If you don’t stop reading over me I’ll chuck you out the nearest window,”
“But I just wanna read what your reading!”
“5…”
“Ohhh Come on, please!?”
“4...”
“You can’t possibly be serious!”
“3…”
“But--”
“….2….”
“Houdini!”
Houdini closed his book, got up from his chair, picked up his cousin who by this point was pretty helpless, walked over and opened the back window, threw out his cousin, closed the window, dusted off his hands and walked back to his chair.
Wizardora entered walked in from the kitchen holding a bottle when she noticed what just had happened, “…Go cousin,” she said putting out thumb up with her free hand.
He took little notice, “I don’t know how we put up with him,” sighed Houdini,
“I don’t,” Wizardora replied taking a swig from her bottle and wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, “I’d sell the midget to the pound- but you wouldn’t let me,”
“Damn right I wouldn’t,” he agreed, “He may be a pain in the arse, but he’s still--”
“Family,” they both announced.
“Urgh,” Grunted Wizardora arrogantly, “If I hear anything to do with family I might have too--”
At that point; the doorbell rang.
“That was quick,” mused the magician, “The door’s unlocked. Why doesn’t he just come through?”
“He’s probably to small to which the door handle,” Wizzie sniggered.
“Nonsense, how did he reach the doorbell then,” but he had to admit it was kind of funny.
The Wizardette turned her attention to the direction of the door and walked over to let her cousin in.

Once Wizardora opened the door she noticed that Andrew had suddenly grown…but then realised his feet weren’t touching the ground.
A woman has hold of him by his ‘ruff’, Wizardora gave a confused, partially blank, stare, “Erm…” she murmured, “Can I help you?”
“I believe this belongs to you,” The woman replied holding up Andrew,
“Put me down!” Ordered Andrew stressfully with a flushed and embarrassed expression. The woman told Andrew to hush.
“…Yeah, sorry if the little runt gave you any bother,” apologised Wizardora,
Andrew gave Wizardora a harsh glare.
The Woman dropped Andrew and he scuttled back into the house—Probably to start harassing Houdini again,
“Oh that’s no problem,” She smiled, she has a different regional dialect then around the local area, “Does a woman under the name Wizardora Elizabeth Belles live here?”
“Your looking at her,” Answered Wizardora.
The woman’s face suddenly lit up.
Oh crap Wizardora thought, I recognise that face….I feel a black back coming on,
“Oh it’s such a delight to finally meet you,”
Fuck, I think it is as well
“Hm? What’s going on?” Houdini came into view at the doorframe behind Wizardora, Andrew by his side. The woman shuck Wizardora’s hand excitedly, “Oh please forgive my lack of manners, my name is Angie Anderson. I’m your father’s niece,”
My father had a niece!?
Now Wizardora started to think about it, she did look an awful lot like her father, Bernard. She had his black messy hair, glasses and purples eyes…just like her father!
“Wait you mean,” mused Houdini, pointing as he was coming to terms with things. He looked at Angie then at Wizardora, “Wiz, You never told me that you had another cousin,”
“I didn’t know,” she explained, “I never knew anyone on my father’s side,”
“May I come in?” Angie asked politely.
“…sure,” Wizardora stepped aside
Houdini and Andrew also stepped aside to let Angie pass but they both couldn’t understand how Angie had found out about Wizardora, and why come now?
Fortunately enough for them it was answered a cup of tea later.

“So let me get this straight,” Said Wizardora sat besides Houdini with the fire, Damiyer, watching in on the conversation silently in the fireplace.
“You had an argument with your mother then left home to find me?”
“Well, sort of,” Angie replied keeping the warmth of her mug between her hands, “But there’s a bit more there’s a bit more to it then just that,” Angie explained that her family own a large, global company that specialises in advance engineering and technology and how Angie was the next in line for the business, “Mum never cared about what I wanted to do or what I wanted to say, and with dad ill he couldn’t help my side. Since I was very, very young I had the capability of learning things incredibly fast,” she continued to mention how her mum continuously pushed her education through out her school years and in her spare time she had to learn the family trade. This tight and busy schedule prevented Angie having time to make any friends so at school she was just considered as a ‘geek’ and ‘book nerd’ and stayed in the school library most of her time to escape from most of the bullying that within time she just learnt to ignore. “Then one day,” Angie said, “I just blew up, not literally of course. I just yelled and screamed at my mother all that I felt for years and years and should of said a long time ago,”
“Was there anything that triggered it?” asked Houdini, now curious.
Angie nodded and replied, “I found hidden family documents in some old files,”
“Family documents?” Wizardora repeated, “What did they say?”
“That I had half a family that I hadn’t even heard of before, I’m still not to sure why,”
“Ah, Well I can explain that,” Houdini sighed, “It would be the magic members in our family,” Houdini pulled out his Blue wand with the pink sphere on the end.
Angie looked intrigued and adjusting her square rimmed glasses, “Magic,” she said half fainted, “That would defiantly explain a lot, sadly I have no magic ability…well…not exactly anyway,”
“What do you mean…not exactly?” Andrew spoke, finally, after not being involved much in the conversation. “And I’m surprised you haven’t recognised me yet,” he grinned taking off his hat. Houdini and Wizardora gave there cousin a strange look wondering what the hell he was on about.
Angie looked blankly for a few seconds trying to remember, seemed she was struggling…“Oh! I remember you,”
Andrew smiled,
“You were that annoying little boy that used to torment me in the library,”
Andrew stopped smiling,
Wizzie sniggered uncontrollably, “Andrew, going to school?” She smirked, “That’s just absurd, you must be mistaking my midget of a cousin for another midget of someone else’s cousin,
Andrew was quick to defend, “I did go to school, and I don’t know what your on about Wiz’ you didn’t go to school anyway! You were home tutored,”
He had a good point- even Wizardora agreed with that, though of course didn’t show any intension of defeat but let it rest for now. Andrew explained that he left school early because he wanted his magic to come first and be just like his cousin Houdini, who at this point had no keen interest and rolled his eyes wondering why he got stuck with the obsessive cousin and Wizardora got the sane looking one. Andrew returned back to Angie smiling again, “Looks like you haven’t changed to much, Bookie,”
WHAM!
“Ow…” Andrew slid down the wall to the carpet,
What the fuck was that ?” Wizardora exclaimed nearly having a heart attack from the sound of impact,
“Wizzie! Watch your language,” Houdini scowled, his young cousin was terribly bad-mouthed.
Angie withdrew her stance with her palms poised towards Andrew and Fingers curled, she didn’t even touch him, she was at least a good 2 meters away from him, and she just made that to the other side of the room in about 2 seconds flat. Over flushed with embarrassment of suddenly striking out on Andrew like that- though he did seem to deserve it, “So sorry,” Angie cried flustered with her hands behind her back towards the blonde cousins, “I didn’t mean to do that, well I did, he bloody well deserved it- excuse me there, please don’t be mad,”
The blondes were silent: until they burst out laughing a second later,
“Mad!?” Wizardora laughed, “Why would we be mad, that was fucking awesome!”
“Wizzie!” Andrew walked back to them cowering behind Houdini keep well clear from ‘Bookie’ Houdini growled,
“Sorry,”
“If that’s not magic, how in the name of Polokus did you manage to do that?” Houdini asked as
“I don’t really know,” Angie explained, “Because my IQ is incredibly high, I just sort of release… potential movement energy and transfer it into kinetic energy… mind, hence I can do certain activities associated telekinesis.
“That’s wicked!” grinned Wizzie, she had no idea what potential moment energy and kinetic energy was, but if it meant she could shove Andrew into a wall without touching him it was wicked.
“Telekinesis!” repeated Houdini, “I thought that was impossible,”
“Heh,” Angie adjusted her glasses smiling lightly, “In some places, people would believe the same about magic,”
He smiled back, “Welcome to the family,”
